Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Adnan Faruqi MD is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After growing up in Massachusetts and graduating from medical school, he moved to Chicago to complete residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Management. He moved to Saint Augustine with his wife and children to be closer to family.

His training encompasses a wide variety of disciplines in the management of chronic pain issues including medication management, interventional and surgical techniques, physical medicine and rehabilitation training, psychological evaluation, and complementary and alternative medicines.

When he's not working, he enjoys cycling, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
"I chose the field of Pain Management because I value the relationships I can develop with patients as I work with them to treat their pain and help restore function. I'm also a strong proponent of teaching patients about their syndromes and why I choose a particular treatment. People should be able to control their pain, not be controlled by it."
